In the very heart of Pristina (Kosovo), within the vibrant Dukagjini Center shopping mall, lies Meet Point—a restaurant that masterfully transforms the act of dining into an immersive sensory experience. The project is signed by the Dutch firm UArchitects, with a singular ceramic piece taking center stage: the ICON lattice, designed by Summum Studio for WOW Design.

ICON: Much more than a ceramic surface.
From the very first glance, ICON makes it clear that it is far more than just a surface finish—it’s a statement of intent. The piece unfolds like an architectural skin, wrapping the space and weaving light, shadow, and atmosphere into its own unique language. Its modular design and natural terracotta tone offer a warm and contemporary presence that harmonizes beautifully with the noble materials of the space, such as polished plaster and light wood.
Far from being just another decorative element, ICON becomes the soul of the restaurant: it defines boundaries without enclosing them, frames perspectives, and guides the flow of movement. Its geometry allows for glimpses without intrusion, connection without exposure—creating a porous intimacy that encourages conversation and visual comfort.
Contemporary Craftsmanship with a Strong Identity
The intervention by UArchitects takes full advantage of the piece’s expressive and technical potential. The lattice spans the main walls of the space, wraps around interior volumes, and even embraces arched openings, generating an architecture rich in identity. The result is a balance between function and poetry, where every detail serves a refined and sensorial dining experience.
ICON contributes not only texture and visual rhythm but also cultural depth. By reinterpreting traditional lattices through a contemporary lens, this ceramic piece synthesizes tradition, innovation, and craftsmanship. At Meet Point, it becomes a symbol of character and sophistication—a piece that doesn’t just clad the space, but defines and elevates it.
